Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! The theme for this school year is The Sky's the Limit!  We believe that our theme has to be aspirational to continue to push toward our multi-year process of becoming the best diverse and high-performing school in South Carolina.

 

Every student will be greeted every day.  Our teachers have been working hard to make sure that there are High Levels of Success for ALL, and EVERY student is provided a first class education. We want our students to continue to SOAR! We will continue with implementing our AVID framework throughout our instruction. Teachers will continue to implement high impact strategies and Costa’s Levels of Questioning. Students will continue to develop SMART goals, demonstrate leadership and a growth mindset, and work toward College and Career Readiness.  

 

As a school, we are making sure to increase our digital presence by communicating more often and clearly to families on our school website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Classroom Dojo. Information is being added constantly, so please make sure to check regularly for updates. 

 

We encourage our families to partner with us in your child's education by volunteering, joining the Congaree Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and, if you have a desire to serve in other ways, the School Improvement Council (SIC).
