HEATHER BLANKENSHIP

Welcome to a joyous 2022-2023 school year! I am so excited to be at Congaree Elementary for a second year. I have been teaching for 20 years in different capacities. My youngest son and I moved to South Carolina about two years ago. We have honestly come to love South Carolina. The weather, the climate, and the people, who are authentically friendly and helpful.  I am originally from Omaha, Nebraska which is the home of the Cornhuskers, the College World Series, and one of the top zoos in America. There is so much more to do in South Carolina. My son and I have visited many immensely enjoyable 

I have two sons. My oldest lives in Omaha with his wife and two children.

Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction 

Additional Masters's credits in Education from Augustana University.
