WEST COLUMBIA, SC – With forecasts of inclement weather associated with Hurricane Ian, Lexington Two schools will move to an eLearning day on Friday, September 30.
All after-school activities, programs and athletic events that were scheduled for Friday and Saturday are canceled or have been rescheduled.
Airport High School's homecoming game will now start at 6:30 p.m. The district will continue to monitor weather conditions for Thursday evening’s athletic events, in case additional adjustments become necessary.
Teachers are preparing students for Friday’s eLearning day. You’ll find flyers on eLearning from the Home and our technology help desk here. Students’ assignments will be posted, and teachers will be available during virtual office hours, as outlined in our eLearning from the Home flyer.
The decision to move to an eLearning Day was made after consulting with local, county and state officials. Should additional changes be necessary, Lexington Two families will receive updates by phone, email, and district and school social media. Watch local media for storm-related updates as well.
The safety of our Lexington Two students, their families, and employees is our top concern, and we encourage you to monitor forecasts and make sure you are prepared for this weather event.
